NY Post- The UK government will introduce compulsory identification checks by April of 2018 to ensure those viewing pornography online are over age 18. UK Digital Minister Matt Hancock signed the commencement of the Digital Economy Act on Monday which will eventually ensure those who cannot “normally” access porn are unable to do so online. It will mean ID checks for viewers and includes provisions for fines of more than $300,000 or five percent of their profits for providers. The act will also punish bots used to snap up and resell concert tickets and raise the penalty for online piracy from two to ten years.

Wow. I see a lot of sad things on the Internet (All Biz Pete literally spent an entire day just RT’ing pictures of sad dogs), but this might take the cake. Discovery porn as a teenager is what this country is all about. When you realize there’s more out there than just your imagination and you begin to explore the wonderful world of the internet and all the wild things it has to offer. What’s better than that? Short answer- maybe some late night Seinfeld, but nothing else.

What a damper for these poor children across the pond. I weep for them. The Queen might as well tell them Santa isn’t real while she’s a it. It sucks for them. Listen, I talk a lot about how dumb having to be 21 to drink in the US is. It’s idiotic. It’s ridiculous. It’s inhumane. But taking away porn from the youth of England might top that. Forcing them to get porn from guys in trench coats in back allies, trading magazines like it’s the 1950’s, the whole thing sounds downright dangerous. These poor 16 year old blokes will have to resort to extreme measures to jerk off, and to be honest, I’m scared.

It’s not too late, England. At least make a compromise. Maybe take away the double anal, but at least let them get a taste. Please England, before it’s too late.
